Peter Fenton

Originally from the UK, I have taught English for over sixteen years in a number of different countries, including Poland, New Zealand, China and the UK. I have a wide range of experience including helping prepare students for exams such as IELTS, TOEFL and Cambridge exams (e.g. FCE, CPE).

I also have extensive experience of preparing international students to study at universities abroad. This experience includes teaching on pre-sessional academic English courses at the University of Leicester (UK), Nottingham Trent University (UK), the University of Nottingham (China) and Massey University (New Zealand).

Over the years, I have developed my teaching skills by gaining a Trinity Diploma in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) from the University of Leeds.

In my classes, I aim to create a relaxed and comfortable environment to learn English for all students. I also aim to show students a number of different skills and strategies that can help students to learn more effectively and independently in all areas of their English.
