Hello. My name is Paul Godden-Kent. I’m from South Wales in the U.K., and I hold a Master’s degree in Chinese and Business from the University of Leeds. Before I became interested in language education, I worked for several years at a large UK bank and then went on to earn my CELTA and a 50-hour TESOL certificate.
I’ve been teaching Business English and IELTS for over 15 years, working with learners of all ages and backgrounds. During this time, I’ve helped many students improve their confidence, fluency, and test performance — guiding them step by step toward achieving their goals.
My teaching style is interactive and supportive, focusing on practical communication, feedback, and steady progress. I believe that every student learns best through active participation, meaningful practice, and a bit of fun along the way.
